Overview The Trial of Observation is a difficult account-wide quest designed for experienced adventurers. The mysterious Watcher of Truth demands that candidates investigate creatures associated with deception, ancient knowledge, and supernatural vision. Players who complete every requirement receive the exclusive Observer headgear.

Starting the Quest

Travel to Yuno and speak with the Watcher of Truth at coordinates 157, 176. Only characters who have reached Base Level 200 may accept the trial. Once accepted, quest progress is stored across the entire account. Different characters belonging to the same account may contribute toward the required monster kills.

The player must defeat a total of 450 monsters.

The quest automatically records qualifying kills while it is active. A notification appears after completing each monster requirement.

Completing the Trial

Completing the trial

Return to the Watcher of Truth after completing all monster and material requirements. Select Submit Requirements to finish the quest. The NPC performs a final verification before removing any materials. The player must also have enough inventory capacity to receive the reward. Warning: All submitted materials and Zeny are permanently consumed.

Account Restrictions

Rule	Explanation
Account-wide progress	Kill progress is shared between characters belonging to the same account.
One-time completion	Each account may complete the quest only once.
One reward	Only one Observer can be obtained from this quest per account.
Abandoning	Abandoning the trial resets all recorded monster kills.
Materials	Items collected in the inventory are not removed when the quest is abandoned.

Quest Menu

The Watcher of Truth provides the following options after accepting the quest:

Submit Requirements	Completes the quest after every requirement has been satisfied.
Abandon Trial	Cancels the quest and resets all recorded monster kills.
Leave	Closes the conversation without changing progress.

Important Notes

• The character delivering the final attack must receive kill credit.
• Kills performed before accepting the quest are not counted.
• The required materials must be inside the character's inventory when submitting.
• Items stored in carts, personal storage, or guild storage are not counted.
• The Observer cannot be claimed again if it is lost or deleted.
• Ensure sufficient inventory weight and space before completing the quest.
