OS Weapon Reform converts eligible OS weapons into their AD versions. It requires +7 or higher, retains refine, and removes random options. Cards and socket enchants must be removed beforehand.

Getting to the Institute

  1. Speak to Cash Sales Guide in Prontera (137,125). Choose Yes to enter the Item Mall.
  2. In the Item Mall, speak to Equipment Reform PR Agent at itemmall (14,50). Choose Let's go..
  3. You arrive inside the Regenschirm Institute, map rgsr_in, at (125,170). Walk to the researcher listed below.

The Cash Sales Guide takes you to the Item Mall first, not directly to the institute. This route does not require the airplane service.

Recipe Summary

Every listed OS conversion costs 70 Lower Weapon Upgrade Stones, 200 Mysterious Components and 40 Cor Cores. A +7 weapon remains +7 after reform. Random options are removed even though refine is retained.


How to Use the Reform NPC

  1. Choose the reform category and route.
  2. Select your original equipment from the paged list. You can browse without owning it.
  3. Review the linked result, material quantities and required / owned counts. Owned counts refer to items in your inventory.
  4. Continue to the result page and read the refine, card, enchant, random-option and enchant-grade rules.
  5. Choose Open reform window. The window contains the entire selected category; select the equipment whose recipe you reviewed.
  6. Confirm only after checking the selected equipment. The listed materials are consumed and that equipment is converted.

Use View another item to compare recipes, or Back to return. Browsing and cancelling do not consume your equipment or materials.

Before You Confirm

  • Bring the materials in your inventory, and unequip the equipment you want to reform.
  • A rule saying no cards or socket enchants allowed means the item is rejected while any of those slots are occupied. It does not offer a free removal service.
  • Random options and socket enchants are different properties. Check both rules.
  • A retained enchant grade does not mean the refine level is retained. Refine is listed separately.
  • The recipes below do not list a direct Zeny charge. Buying materials and exchanging ores into stones may cost Zeny.

Obtaining Upgrade Stones

Ores and stones are different items. Reform consumes the listed stones. Weapon, armor and accessory stones are not interchangeable. Use Ore Researcher (rgsr_in 131,187) or the Stone exchanges option at the institute reform researchers. The Prontera Thanatos NPC also provides these exchanges. Each row below gives the cost for one stone. Fees are for the exchange, not an additional reform fee.
