|-

|-

== Initial Enchantments ==
Choose '''Old Helmet enchant'''. Slots are filled in the order '''4, 3, then 2'''. Each initial enchant costs '''10 Cursed Fragments''' and grants a random result.

|- style="background:#102846;color:#f5d58b;"
! Order !! Slot !! Possible results !! Cost
|-
| First || 4 || STR, AGI, VIT, INT, DEX, or LUK +1 to +5 || 10 Cursed Fragments
|-
| Second || 3 || STR, AGI, VIT, INT, DEX, or LUK +1 to +5 || 10 Cursed Fragments
|-
| Third || 2 || A stat +4/+5, or a level-1 special enchant || 10 Cursed Fragments
|}

Special enchants include '''Mettle, Magic Essence, Acute, Master Archer, Adamantine, Affection, and Tenacity'''. Only special enchants can be upgraded, up to '''level 10'''. A regular stat enchant in slot 2 requires resetting and enchanting again to try for a special enchant.

== Standard Upgrades ==
Standard upgrades use fewer fragments. '''Failure consumes the materials and lowers the special enchant by one level.''' At level 1, a failed attempt keeps the enchant at level 1. The headgear is not destroyed.

|- style="background:#102846;color:#f5d58b;"
! Upgrade !! Cursed Fragments per attempt !! Success chance
|-
| 1 to 2 || 20 || 90%
|-
| 2 to 3 || 40 || 80%
|-
| 3 to 4 || 50 || 70%
|-
| 4 to 5 || 70 || 60%
|-
| 5 to 6 || 100 || 50%
|-
| 6 to 7 || 150 || 25%
|-
| 7 to 8 || 250 || 15%
|-
| 8 to 9 || 500 || 10%
|-
| 9 to 10 || 1,000 || 5%
|}

== Safe Upgrades ==
Choose '''Safe upgrade''' to protect your current special enchant level. '''Failure consumes the fragments but does not downgrade the enchant.''' Safe upgrades are not guaranteed to succeed.

{| class="wikitable" style="width:100%;"
|- style="background:#102846;color:#f5d58b;"
! Upgrade !! Cursed Fragments per attempt
|-
| 1 to 2 || 80
|-
| 2 to 3 || 160
|-
| 3 to 4 || 200
|-
| 4 to 5 || 280
|-
| 5 to 6 || 1,000
|-
| 6 to 7 || 1,500
|-
| 7 to 8 || 2,500
|-
| 8 to 9 || 5,000
|-
| 9 to 10 || 10,000
|}

Safe upgrades cost '''4 times the standard material cost''' for target levels 2-5 and '''10 times''' for target levels 6-10. At level 1, standard failure already preserves the enchant level.

== How to Upgrade ==
# Equip your enchanted Old headgear.
# Speak to '''Wandering Mind''' and choose '''Old Helmet enchant'''.
# If all enchant slots are filled and slot 2 holds an upgradeable special enchant, choose '''Standard upgrade''' or '''Safe upgrade'''.
# Check the material cost, confirm payment, and select '''Perform the enchantment'''.
# Repeat as desired until the special enchant reaches level 10.

== Resetting Enchants ==
Choose '''Old Helmet reset''' and pay '''10 Sentimental Fragments'''.

{| class="wikitable" style="width:100%;"
|- style="background:#102846;color:#f5d58b;"
! Property !! After reset
|-
| Enchants in slots 2, 3, and 4 || Removed
|-
| Inserted card in slot 1 || Preserved
|-
| Headgear refine level || Preserved
|}

At least one enchant must be present to reset. Resetting removes '''all three enchant slots'''; it does not reroll only the special enchant.
